ORIGIN - from the Greek sauros ‘lizard’$

who we are

Sauros Digital was founded in 2009 by former biology student, zookeeper, and now-filmmaker, Fabián Aguirre, with the sole purpose of creating visually-captivating documentations of the human condition and the natural world through narrative short films, multidisciplinary performing arts, and wildlife documentaries. 

His main inspiration stems from the sustainable and respectful use of our planet, and our responsibility to minimize our impact on the delicate balance upon which the biodiversity of our world (and in turn, our own species) depends. 

In addition to the adoption of Sustainability and Practical Environmentalism as a driving philosophy, Sauros Digital stands firmly on the irrefutable importance of human diversity, and the assertion that change begins with the actions of the individual. As a result, Sauros Digital is committed to promoting social and environmental progress through knowledge, compassion, and a firm understanding of the power of the visual and performing arts.
